To all the pets

She had a number of pets
Caressed them with all her heart
Dogs, cats, hens, cows and goats
Only to lose them at some point

Played and made memories unforgettable
She treated 'em as her siblings not mere pets
For the love she had was unsurpassable
Each time she remembers her soft part melts

Spent her childhood with them
For she was so winsome and merrimaking
Yet so responsible while looking after them
Bewildered everyone who saw it happening

Feeding them and bathing them
Petting their tender heads; caressing
With her Dadda she looked after them
She sung them lullabies ; her humming

Following them around
Chit-chatting the whole time
To sit on her lap they come & crowd
Retire to take a nap a serene time

Uncountable memories to keep
The soft stroke on their heads
Like a wand and swoosh they fell asleep
Found comfort as she fondles

The one who used to play with teddies
Was more engaged with her pets
Now all time with dogs & kitties
All day till the moment sun sets

She was always the one in her family
To name all the pets
Accepted the family quite happily
She grew fonder of her pets

When they didn't return at evening
Makes her sick worried
Her heart kept wildly pacing
To look for them she hurried

Keeps looking and screaming unsettled
Crazy as hell the uncontrollable her
If couldn't find becomes devastated
Poignancy starts to wrap her

The ones she loved left her
With all love still felt broken
Tears she shedded hither and thither
Any attempt was futile to hearten

Always remembered her loving pets
Whether former or the present
They hurry to her lap as she sits
Would fight with anyone unhesitant

All the pets made her childhood memories
For she feels grateful to all her pets
These memories fondly the heart carries
A heartily thanks she bids her lovely pets

She never bid them adieu aloud
For she knew they dwelled in her heart
Her heart was their abode;
From which they never can depart

All these pets being a great part of childhood
Gives her immense pleasure
Pondering over 'em in womanhood
Cherishing such a great treasure
