I am not OK
I haven't been ok for a while now
But I keep smiling and pressing on
Because the reality is
There is no provision for you when you're not ok
There's no contingency plan when you don't show up
Understanding is limited
And sympathy is almost nonexistent
My internal screams are getting louder
The tears are no longer threatening,
They're on the verge of expulsion
But I keep pressin on
Because nobody wants a sad story
And everyone is dealing with something
If they can do it, so can you
So no matter how you feel
Get, get up, dress up, fix your face and show up!
