Hurtling through space,

Cities below sound asleep,
Nestled quietly unaware,
The rock struck so deep.
Carnage engulfed the globe,
Pillaging land and sea,
The dust left mankind no hope.
Savior in the night,
Buzzing in my ear,
The clock made things right.

Tampering with fear,
