and I pretend not to see.
But it is all too clear to me,
that all that remains is a shadow
of a love that ceased to be.

That love I once felt
when I looked in to your eyes
is now just as cold as ice,
And after deceiving me countless times
i had to make myself immune
to your incessant lies.
The funny part is how you still
believe you got me blind,

What you might regard
as well thought out excuses,
to my ears its just nothing but noise.
I would much rather die
by the sharp edge of the truth
than live with all your stupid,
and unconvincing lies.
Im man enough to take it as it comes and
much stronger than you ever could realise.

Losing you is the least of my fears,
It is losing my sanity that i dread the most.
Who knows? Maybe losing you is key to
getting back every bit of self
that i because of you had lost.
