Burning from within my mind;
Are the things I see and others cannot because they are blind.
Burning within my heart;
Is in balance between love and hate, just love and do my part.
Burning from within my past;
Are things I let go of each day choosing not to grasp.
Burning within my mind;
Are the things I choose with love; these stand before me to my words;
To my heart they eternally bind.
Burning from within my heart;
Help me good Lord to hold true and play my part;
To authentically love others above and before myself.
Until my last day when You call me from this world to depart.
Burning from within my past;
My greatest wounds are my greatest strengths;
Through those wounds I can full trust in a love that is divine and steadfast.
Burning from my heart to my pen;
Love is the one thing that truly has no end.
