Misogyny
You can see hope in her eyes
While shes trying to have a vision of outside
Through that tiny window of the prison where she resides
You can feel patience in her eyes
She lacks so she strives
for freedom
The freedom of others
and cages inside of them
The cages inside of everyone
Locking out awareness and logic
But she's ready to do anything
to undo this tragic

The cages of misogyny
Chaining minds for ages
With ultimate lack of scrutinies
It was difficult to tear these pages
Off of the book of tale and life
With prisoned men and women against this drive

Like a bird born in cage
Feels freedom to be wrong
We too are born in this cage of mysogyny
That we aren't ready for breaking this chain of ages long

While our neighborhood aunties are always commenting
"Maybe the boy is always late back home
Maybe at three
Maybe at four but
"See that girl? Shes nothing but a slut
A guy drops her off around midnight, almost at 12!
She's going straight to hell
Well, no one knows where shes going, hell or heaven
But these are signs that toxicity
inside of people wont leave them
Lets take tiny steps
But ahead
To unclench us of such toxic habits
And find positive things to practice
