Montae-solo
Yet again she sat on the same bench,
Where the life-long promises were kept in mind
Under the evening sky,
That romanticized the love,
The love, Her other half she'll never find...

She was called stubborn and fussy
And never had an appetite in the candle light
She did wear a red dress and high heels,
But none could take her on a ride...

Her sweet fantasies were all in books
And the emotions she showed were during movie nights
The love-talks between her companions,
Were not much of a long lines...

She didn't like to be called a solo
And wanted someone to hold her hand for life,
But she did see the footprints vanish with the waves
And the only things left behind were the names,
Names, that were carved on rocks and in past-time...
