Ghost Of You
Your the one so dear in my heart,
The one who gave me a second start.
Over the years we rowed and we fought,
Though I’ll always remember the lessons you taught.

Yes dear Grandad I’m talking of you,
I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do.
Your no longer with us,
I’m so sad to say.

I’d love it if you were still here everyday,
Turning steel into marvellous, things on your lathe.
Telling me not, to cry and be brave,
When I was naughty, shut up and behave.

You helped me become the man that I am,
Now that you’re gone I’ll carry the can.
I know the ghost, of you is still here,
Deep in my heart, year after year.

Now that your gone,
There’s not much to say.
But goodbye, farewell,
You’re missed everyday.
