In the Fairytales we were told,
There were only Princesses and Knights.
That's it.
The only version of love we were taught.
They never told stories
About the Damsels and the Dames
Or the Princes and the Knights even.
So how do we know?
How do we know
if we desire a Queen or a King
In our Castle
If we didn't get the story for that,
For the chance to Believe?
How do we know
To answer the questions
the fairies of untold secrets and desires
whisper inside our minds as children
when everyone else already
tells us what to do
All the time, on the outside?
I have so many questions
And to think they were to be answered
In fables and anecdotes.
Maybe they are only found within me.
