Tarry not towards the end,
Await and appreciate,
As you are now,
Your sorrow and your joy,
Your tears and despair,
Your anger and distress,
All that overwhelms you,
Soon will pass.
They didn't tell you, did they?
About hope!
You hold on,
You do.
So tightly, so certain,
With every fibre of your being,
You do.
Because this,
This pain you feel,
'Twill soon end.
It's okay to cry,
It's okay to not be okay.
Feel your pain,
Express it,
Live it.
But do not dwell in it,
You get up,
You dust off,
And you wear that crown,
Again,
Like the royalty you are.
Because here,
Darling,
We do not give up.
