Worth a while
If I show you my inside out,
Reasons for these smiles on my face.
Trust me, you won't understand me,
Because I smile but my soul bleeds out.
I savour the pleasure of my pain,
Disguise it for my soul to find peace.
A smile with glamour without stain,
It is the star that remains.
To ignite the dim hope within,
For a heavy soul has nothing to lean on.
I glow because that is the power of a smile,
A lot it dissolves, a lot it devours.
Pain, regrets, and a lot it covers,
At least with a smile, life is worth a while.
