Stop putting your bitterness in your kids!
They are to carry love, life and their own destinies, regardless of how they came to the world, stop making them pay for your mistakes, don't be myopic in parenting to help them live the life you couldn't, yes you should give them what you weren't given as a child but that doesn't include forcing your realization of life on them, let.them.find.their.realization, help guide them in their dreams,support and sponsor all you can.but don't live your life through them.
