In the darkness of the night, shadows dance and creep,
A chilling wind whispers, as you struggle not to weep.

Eyes glowing in the dark, a figure lurks nearby,
Heart pounding in your chest, you can't help but wonder why.

The floorboards creak beneath your trembling feet,
Every sound magnified, sending shivers down your spine so fleet.
A cold hand brushes against your cheek,
Your screams silenced, as fear reaches its peak.

The moon hides behind a veil of clouds,
As the horror scene unfolds, your mind enshrouds.

Ghosts and ghouls emerge from the depths unknown,
In this twisted nightmare, you're never truly alone.

But fear not, my friend, for it's just a tale,
A thrilling adventure that will make your heart assail.
