Unrequited love
In the realm of unrequited love, I dwell,
A solitary heart, a secret I cannot tell,
You're the star that lights my darkest night,
But I'm a shadow in your radiant light.

I watch you from a distance, silently,
As you chase your dreams so fervently,
My love, a whisper in the winds that sigh,
A love unrequited, a tear in my eye.

Your face and elegance, like midnight's grace,
A mystic allure in your every embrace,
Eyes deep as oceans, a gaze that enthralls,
In your presence, my heart softly falls.

With a complexion like starless shade
A beauty so unique, it will never fade
Your laughter, a melody in the night's sweet air,
A dark enchantress, beyond compare.

In your abscence, I find only solace and despair,
My heart breakung beyound repair
Though I yearn for more, I'll never confess,
For you're a dark beauty, my secret, no less

I've painted dreams with you as the muse,
But they're just illusions, a bitter ruse,
For you, my friend, are unaware,
Of the love I hold, the burden I bear.

In your presence, my heart beats fast,
But you see me as a friend, and that will last,
Though I yearn to hold you, to make you mine,
I'll keep this love hidden, a smile on my face.

I've tried to fill this hole with others, it's true,
To find a love that's not centered on you,
But in their embrace, I still feel the space,
No one can replace you, in this heart's chase.

I've met new women, tried to let love in,
But the void remains, beneath my skin,
For in my soul, you've left an indelible mark,
An unrequited love, forever in the dark.

In this bittersweet dance, I'll carry on,
A silent lover, from dusk till dawn,
Hiding my feelings, my desire untold,
For no one can fill this empty love's hole
