On that day, the 25th of September 2021,
We met by chance, a day to remember.
Amid the chaos, we bonded with ease,
In moments of hardship, you brought me peace.

Through the highs and the lows, we learned to stand,
Facing it all, hand in hand.
The bitter, the sweet, the hurt, the joy,
You’ve been my comfort, my greatest ploy.

I caused distance, I went away,
Yet you forgave, asked me to stay.
With a heart so big, you held on tight,
You saw through the dark and brought back light.

For every laugh, for every tear,
You’ve stayed by my side, year after year.
Our friendship, a bond so rare, so true,
A treasure I hold because of you.

May we keep growing, day by day,
Building memories that forever stay.
From now until we’re old and gray,
Together, we’ll laugh the pain away.

So here’s to us, and all we’ve been through,
Thank you for being the friend I never knew I needed—but always knew.
