Hesitant to ask me for a chance,
you sat beside me, oh, so still
You whispered something sweet
It gave me the chills
I looked into your eyes
And through to your soul
I could tell in that moment that
I need you in order to be whole
Why, oh why Did I let you go
Feels like knives in my chest
There are days I feel so low
Nights up, I cannot rest
Some days I wish I could go back in time to say yes to you then
but for now I wait, with you in my heart, until we meet again
