Moments passed very fast
Days come and went
Nights became longer and lonelier
People smiling at everything
I wouldn't move or talk
But one day I moved only to realize you were gone
I wouldn't bring you back even if I wanted to
Time wants everything to be in a hurry
Those days were beautiful
When I could only think about a few a thing
Nothing more but one thing
It's either it or none
Hardworking I was because you were there
Always cheerful and ready to help everyone
But those moments never lasted
As I grew older, you started to disappear
I nolonger have a peaceful night
its either one or another
I wish you could come back
I moved from upcountry to downtown
only to find you but you abandoned me
Life became hard as I was recognized
As a different person, given responsibilities and in your
place I got dreams that now chase me to be recognized
and appreciated
Now home is never the place I spend my time
Eight months at school and only four at home a year
only because of dreams
I wish I can be more like the old me and you who never
did anything but spoon fed
But this shall soon apass for I got determinations
to get you back
