He was a father and a friend of mine
the way he died with so much sunshine
a smile on his face when he passed away
I think about him each and everyday.
A lovely man who was loving and kind
I loved his intelligence and his great mind
he passed away in his sleep last week
I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Such a lovely man so tender and sweet
touching the lives of the people he'd meet
he was my friend and someone so kind
forever and ever, he had a great mind.
The way he died with a smile on his face
a beautiful man with humility and grace
leaving behind his daughter and two sons
the way he died, the victory was won.
