BELITTLING
A common theme in  real life,

Taken by the jury as a tiny strife,

A cause for heart ache and a little pain,

A tiny crack that leads to more sinister gains,

A accompaniment along the tracks of the crowd,

Comparison, a mother to its blighted cloud,

A haze that lives atop the human eyes,

Judgemental, targeting the girls and the guys,

A girl with eyes as bright as the sky,

Has a shrivelled inside that darkens till night,

A word of belittlement assaulted her ears,

A sword that punctures deeper till a hundred years,

A boy with dark and droopy eyes,

His world as blotched as the wall of ice,

A letter of ugliness written by the finest of girls,

Pain slices his confidence to morsels,

Belittlement, a word that carries gore,

A blight that remains in the new and old,

An agenda that kills with words of all sorts,

Seeds of lies, a garnish to its moles,

A feast of sadness laid in its honor,

Bouquet of reject, a guest of honor,

Young and old, appear before an altar, cold,

Souls encased in jars of bronze and gold,

A rich language, we definitely see,

They feast and eat,  dispose of the remains,

Shattered love for self, a delightful glaze,

Broken chandeliers of confidence, what more could they ask,

In and out, they continue to thread,

A tapestry of demise,

For low and high,

let us look and behold its lies,

Then we will no more suffer for its shadowed guise.

I want to thank God for giving me the Grace to write this. So, how was it?
