Beauty Of Our Motherland
The beauty of our land,
the green vegetation gives appetite
How free the birds, how at peace the trees
words cannot convey the awe and majesty.
I can but kneel in wonder at exultant diversity
as we say black is beautiful with sparkling eyes, dancing our culture dance,
beads dressing us up
the dance of adowa by Asantes
This reminds me when I was once told of the golden stool.
The savannah plains where wildlife thrives
the volta lake, stretching far and wide
A symbol of our nation's pride
Ghana, our Motherland we are blessed
and we oath to protect it with all our might.
The beauty and sheen of Ghana shall forever remain
so help us God.
