I look at myself with little to no emotions in the mirror
A blank face stares back my reflection couldn't be clearer
I lost all the joy in my heart and ran out of tears to cry
I can do something with my life but I won't even try
I feel so confused in a world that doesn't make sense
I wake up everyday not feeling one hundred percent
So many things I wish to get done but where do I begin
I have so many distractions I feel like I can't even win
It's time I listen to my own advice and follow my own path
I will find my glory and success cause I now hold the map
It will lead me to where I want to be on top of the globe
So many plans and ideas running through my head my brain might explode
No more time wasting and no more sitting around waiting
No more slacking and definitely no more procrastinating
I can't stay young forever I must build my foundation
If I do nothing what legend will I spread across the nation
I have no reason for neglecting myself and my duties as a man
How can I allow myself to sink in to the despair like it's quicksand
No longer can I allow myself to sit still feeling depressed
I will now rise to the challenge and become a success
I now walk away from the mirror a new man filled with hope
Now let's see the people who gave up on me crack their pathetic jokes...
