​Hustle and bustle was all around
Children merrily dancing on ground
Looking for you,I was moving out
But you didn't respond to any shout
I couldn't find you any where
I was tired,searching you here & there
I called your name wherever I went
Dejected at last,on my knees I bent
Just then, I heard a distant wailing
The fears in my heart started sailing
The cry struck me with numerous fears
And I found myself drenched in tears
I stood up and went near the mob
Some crying aloud and others would sob
What I saw next made me go numb
I wanted to shout but I felt dumb
Your lifeless body laid near me
You left me alone,how could it be
The chills running down my spine
The wind around began to whine
Your silence shattered my heart
As if my body was torn apart
Your withered lips and pale face
How I craved for your warm embrace
I wished to see you just once more
Your absence had left a painful sore
Your loss was so painful to bear
It was your voice,I longed to hear
Thoughts of your loss running in mind
Someone gripped me from behind
Comforting words in middle of sighs
Shedding tears, I opened my eyes
It was you,embracing me tight
You caressed me throughout the night
You said you'd be always near
Whenever I got in the pool of fear
But I kept thinking who would it be
If my nightmare turned into reality!
