When sadness overcomes you
And you find yourself alone at night,
Nowhere to turn to
You pick up your phone
And in desperation you text
The people you know.
You talk normally while also
Giving some subtle hints
So that they could understand
That you need someone.
But one by one they go away,
Saying goodbyes and good night
And you find yourseldf alone again.
Alone again for another night.
