Why can't you ever come
at me with the truth?
Truth is, I doubt
that I'll be able
to forgive you,
I've been invaded,
invaded by you,
I always feel so naked
when I'm inside of the eyes
of a public review,
It's been a constant battle
as I have struggled uphill,
All of these issues
that life gave me,
will take more than a pill,
Why did you have to go
& make things worse
by taking my free will?
I'm stuck inside
a horrific moment,
And, right now, the time
is just standing still,
So, you'll have to excuse me,
if I don't care how you feel.
