You wanted “less than wild” and
I tried, but I almost let you hold
me back until the day I died.

You wanted to be “prioritized”
and you had the nerve to say
I didn’t that was one of your
biggest lies, so in return you
left me paralyzed from all the
pain you gave me on the insides.

You wanted me to be “not me”, you
wanted “less than wild” and I tried
but that’ll never be me. I was always
“too much to handle” truth is you
could have never met me at the
same level.

You wanted “less than wild” but
I have to be me so I’m not even
going to try. Not for you, someone
who was never willing to love me
the way I deserve until the day I die.
