each and every time she tried to reach out to you,
because you thought she'd always be around.
yet now that the tables have turned,
and she's no longer calling or checking up on you,
you're wondering why she's no longer paying attention to you.

Found this poem on Instagram and I felt this speaks to a lot of people who are taken for granted, or not given back the love they deserve. Hence I'm sharing this as a reminder that someone out there is meant for us so let's not waste our time showing affection to someone who won't love us otherwise.
