I trust the rain to cover my tears
I trust loud music to drown my sobs
I trust bright smiles to hide my pain
But to trust your words is another thing
Your empty bottle of promises
Broke my heart into pieces
Words you’ve said
We both know you never meant
The trust I gave, you used as a tool
To break me and make me a fool
Now I won’t ignore,
The fact that I can’t trust you anymore.
