In shadows deep, where darkness dwells,
Lies a question that within us swells,
Why do people, in their souls so vast,
Engage in deeds that forever cast,
A pall upon their conscience's light,
And shroud their hearts in endless night?

For deep within the human heart,
Lie complexities, a tangled art,
A tapestry woven with threads unseen,
Of desires, fears, and motives keen.
A dance of light and shadows played,
Where choices mold the paths we wade.
