we are the ones who need to change it
we need to stop the world from dying
all that hate between us, we need to quit
climate change is serious, not just another thing

we need to stop ourselves from spreading
spreading sorrow, hate and lies
our mistakes are adding and adding
we aren‘t helping and the time flies

we aren‘t questioning ourselves
we are the monsters we should be afraid of
instead of helping, we‘re hiding behind the shelf
instead of hate we should be spreading love

we are just laying in our beds
sinking in our sorrows
on our earth death spreads
and one day, there won’t be any tomorrows
