what would it truly take
to just tell me the truth
can you not see the toll it takes
when you do the shit you do?
the stress in my face
hopelessness in my eyes
day after day you continue to take
even more of my time..
more of my..life.. why??
what would it truly take
to be honest with me?
how much more should I slip away
before you finally come to see;
you're the one with the blade
the one who drives it into me
like..how much more must I take
until you are happy?
do you want me to see me cry
because of your fucking games?
shrivel up from being dried
because all the tears have left my face?
is it that you want to see me die?
or just see my happiness misplaced?
is it that..this holes not enough; I've crawled inside?
do you just need a better view of my face
must you see tears streaming down
and play a symphony for you, I guess
or.. should I turn my cheek and in them; drown
will you finally let me rest
if I am lying here, but dead?
