But the fear of losing you
Never goes from my mind.
My words were never meant to hurt you or your feelings.
They are just covering my insecurities with those bitter words of mine.
I know you are mine.
I never want to hurt you.
I wanted to keep expectations
But I fear if they do not come true.
To hide my expectations, all I do is smile.
Which makes it less hurtful.
I know you are mine.
But the fear of losing you covers my mind.
With the thought of knowing my imperfect self, I am losing my self-confidence in my love for you.
And the fear of you saying one day that I no longer love you covers my mind.
I know if that day comes, I'll just wish you a happy life ahead.
But that day will also be my last day on this earth.
