This year is finally ending, finally coming to a close.
All the sadness and frustration, no more stress for people to impose.
It has been a long one; full of anger, smiles, and tears.
I hope the next one is better, hopefully one of our best years.
We have been through trials and tribulations, as well as wins and losses.
In our memories we'll hold everything this year has cost us.
The loss of friends and family, jobs and so much more.
It has tested our strength and faith in God, straight down to the core.
So I'll say it now; here's to next year, may things be better and brighter than every year before.
