The struggle is real
Got me down, makes me ill
Everyone I rely on left, all of a sudden
Only me carrying the burden.

Now I'm carrying the burden of others
In agony, I'm flooded with the emotions of others
For their joy or sadness, I'm responsible
I'm left alone, in a situation that's irresistible.

In pain, I'm losing my potential
Now I'm fading, nothing to claim again as credential
Hoping for strength, but I can't see
But the tears of my kids never cease.

My thoughts are no more relevant, my soul is unrest
The burden, huge and hard to carry, but I will try my best.
