Desiderium
Desiderium...

A cream liquorice
Anointing the distant rippling waves
curling in round my breasts
Leaving it to melt and cool,
as your dear image, twines about my heart,
and burns like the embers of autumnal hearth.

Replete with mirror silver in the shadow murk ,
I succumbed to the wafting esther,
Of cruising Armada whistling on horizons
A time reflecting on “lest we forget”
When green of youth succumbed to their sad lot ,
I watch the harmonica sky ripple a tune.

There's tang upon the path, a squelch of wet.
My soles love the cool wet sands, the waterline,
drifting lores of the gulls and pulpit rocks,
A whim of sensitivity and pulse
Echoes within the thin scaled ivory layers
As it coils into flashbacks,
Seated beside the caresses of the sea.
