Boxing and judo were taken from me
I have so much anger and jealousy
abused by an ex and by a man I knew
that's why I'm bitter and angry too.
Addiction led me down a darker road
dealing with nothing but a heavy load
broken down and traumatized here today
I wish that the trauma would all go away.
Twenty whole years since I had to go
without boxing and judo, I feel all alone
I feel like a fraud without my cape
deep down inside, I feel out of shape.
The anger and rage that I've got inside
the love that I have had diminished & died
it was boxing & judo that gave me joy
though I lost my peace since I was a boy.
