Think about a time in your life when you couldn’t make a decision, and write a poem based on it.


She wakes up and paints on her face.
searching for a way out,
her own escape.
Filled with passion, fire, and love.
No one ever told her it's not always enough.
She wanna be like magazines.
Hands are grasping at her dreams.
Until life throws her down,
face first in the dirt,
suffocates without a sound.

Waited my whole life for just one try,
to get this right.
And get you off my mind.

No more second guessing,
wasting all my time,
doing wrong,
when I thought it right.

There will be no second tries
so dry your eyes.

She wakes up and hates this place.
Trying to run from the shadows of her shame.
Filled sadness, hate, and angst.
But that all changes when she
sees his loving face.

She so sick she wanna scream.
Frustrated by the person she's supposed to be.

If she could run she wouldn't never look back.
Escape their watchful eyes and,
slip right through the cracks.
