F(OE)RIEND
T'was a year ago,
And some more months I guess,
We became friends, nevertheless.....
Talked about secrets,
Some wizard traits,
Never did I know, t'was a bait...

I believed in you (blindly), I had faith,
Never had I used,
A word of hate....
But, you know what set us apart?
T'was your words,
Which were poison darts...

I resisted a few, and some did hurt,
Some flew above me,
And some grinded down with the dirt...

And I said, "You're special!
You're the one,
Whom the Universe had sent!
You're the one,
Who's here to mend,
The Earth."

T'was not me, who spoke,
They were visions,
Who had evoked, me.

One night,
When the world had slept,
I remained stunned, I was awake.
Then, I saw a glow,
In the distant past,
T'was not gold, t'was dark....

Your face,
Your laughter,
Your eyes floated through,
In the stunned darkness.
I saw through.
I saw through, you....

Your words,
About the witches and wizards,
Yes, they were true.
Those dragons and that occamy,
Yes, they weren't false too.
Yes, I still believe in you.

But, you know
Why did I misbehave?
Because of your true self, which you locked in a cage!

Your restlessness, your desires,
High above they flew,
And you acted, as if t'was only the Earth you knew!

Of different sects of people,
Of their struggles,
Of Hindus and Muslims,
And how low was I, as a muggle!
Of how I caused you,
Too much trouble.

I know, we wear masks,
There's only one, which is true,
I had slashed off mine,
Couldn't you too?
Couldn't you,
Too?

And you thought,
You wouldn't be exposed,
The mask you wore was a beautiful red red rose,
I thought, were going to be friends, forever,
But, this was a chapter,
I had to close, again.....
