Exams
The exam is done, the paper is handed in,
My mind is tired, my head is in a spin.
But though my brain feels like it's been through a race,
I know I gave it my best, I kept up the pace.
Now I can finally breathe a sigh of relief,
And let my mind relax, find some sweet relief.
I'll put my books away, forget about the stress,
And take some time to simply decompress.
I'll think about the future, what it might bring,
And all the new adventures waiting in the wings.
But for now, I'll relish the feeling of release,
And let my mind and body find some much-needed peace.
The exam is done, the hard work is through,
And I can finally enjoy some time anew.
So here's to rest, and a job well done,
And all the things that come with having fun.
