How did we get here

How did we go from talking everyday to not recognizing each other at all

How did we go from daily check-ins to not a single morning text

How did we go from Hellos in the hallway

To taking a back turn when we see each other

How did we go from from nicknames to actual names

Where did the fun and lovely emojis go

The late night conversations vanished

How did we go from last text today to last texted months ago

I think about it everyday and wonder if you think about it too

Or did I fall too deep, to not get out unhurt

I should have never gave us a chance

Knowing well by history that it never works out

You were my pillar and strength

Or so it seemed

You have left me in crambles

Trying to pick myself up piece by piece

What a waste

I should have known better

It was all a SCAM.
