A Friend
We are seven in the group,
That if you'll divided into two,
One will lost a partner.
And that was me.

I am alone not because I want to,
But because I have to.
I can stand alone,
And still live like I'm part in.

Friend number one, cries in pain.
From the heart breaks she got to her ex.
I looked at her and tap her shoulders.
I said, "you can cry on me."

Friend number two, smiled at me,
But I know what behind her lips.
She was afraid that's what I see in her eyes.
I said, "I'll not judged you, so talk now."

Friend number three, walked behind me.
I feel that his confused.
So, I turned my back and hug him.
And said, "you can think now."

Friend number four, sleeping at the side.
I walked and looked at her.
She's sleeping not peacefully,
I whispered at her ear, "dream wonderfully."

Friend number five, hurting herself.
Seeing how she's devastated
I sitted in front of her and stop her.
While holding her wrist saying, "this doesn't help."

Friend number six, quietly writing on her notes.
I looked at her face and see no emotions,
So, I called her and open my mouth.
Telling her, "I'm here to listen."

I am friend number seven.
I am alone, to be there for them.
I need to help them.
I need to understand them too.

This is me saying that Self - Care.
Is something we understand others,
The way we wanted to be understood.
Like how people give us meaning.
