Just as the rain started to fall,
Forces of good and evil instantly clashed,
In circles and in twirls that darkens all,
Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed,
Never thought I'd here voices in my head
From the time I wake up to the time I'd go to bed.
Dark thoughts, in my mind are fed.
Yet at times when your hands are held
I feel a sense of being healed.
Your light swept away my darkest days
In all shapes, sizes, forms and ways.
It shines brighter each passing day
Just as the rain started to fall, I was rescued by your light all the way.
You showed me how to love completely
And not leave you so suddenly
You showed me maturity
and gratitude is all I can repay.
You showed me how to love unconditionally
and not give up on trials that we suffer weekly.
You always made me feel special and happy
Thank you for your love, my beloved, oh so dearly.
Just as the rain started to fall,
I remembered, I ruined them all
I triggered you and broke your walls
I broke your heart and shattered your halls.
I realized I was wrong in every way
I was selfish in all aspects every day
I did not notice you were already in pain
I was wrong, I'm sorry you're suffering again.
I'm really sorry for what I have done,
All I ask is for you to remember, we had fun
Even now, we both have been broken
We both were triggered, and so we both bend.
I love you and I always will
Even though I have tough shoes to fill
You've grown so maturely in love
While this was my first time falling in real love.
This is really all I've been thinking all day and all night
Just trying to make things right
Though I know it will never be alright
But I see the glimpse of hope and light.
Maybe we focused to much on this relationship
And for got we have ourselves to keep
