Framed abstract painting in front of me
Hard to decipher but it gives a huge impact to me
The strokes, the colors are a bit strange
I look closely to it and it made me cringe
I looked at the woman beside me
She stares at the painting bewilderedly
"They called this an art?" She said acerbically
I took my eyes off her
She can only say that 'coz she's not a painter
Behind the directionless strokes
Is a heart that shooks
The colors blended confusingly
Now, I can understand it fully
This is a magnificent artwork
Painted by the person who's been choked
Choked by the wounds and pain
A person who was once chained
He paints this wonderfully
His hand uses the paintbrush gracefully
He created a masterpiece wholeheartedly
This painting gives different emotions
Pain, happiness, sadness, even isolation
Don't judge a paint made by a wounded painter
'Coz even your sorry will never be considered.
