Have you ever felt so alone?
Then the fireflies showed up
Have you seen them dancing?
In the mid-air they kept colliding
But have you ever seen them fall?
Do they ever lose their lights?
Or even take a rest in midnights
I guess we can't be the fireflies
We will never fly around freely
Then move up and down slowly
Ourselves is just our enemies
Forbidding us to be happy
Can't we just be like the fireflies?
That moves around endlessly
With their lights guiding their way
And contemplates the darkest night
Can't we just be like the fireflies?
Have they ever reached the skies?
But I don't care if they did not
At least they are always happy
Now I know we can't be a firefly
Cause we're blinded by the city lights
There's no way we could ever fly
We're too afraid to spread our wings
