I am not a hero and the world doesn't need one.
We need shields, armour and not empty medallion.
Don't put us on a pedestal,
Letting some clap and making others lark.
It's a storm we walk through,
Yet we barely have a candle in the dark.
There is sea to sail,
Filled with monsters many.
We are sailing in a boat,
With mere torn sails, if any.
Courage isn't enough,
Valour maybe useless too.
One cannot climb a mountain,
With crumbled leaves for a shoe.
We need not be remembered for kingdom come,
We need not to be treated as 'Gods' by some.
Mere mortals we breathe,
Like you, you and you.
Wives, mothers and children they wait,
We need our shields, not some titles anew.
