GRATITUDE
I cried all night,
I hated myself,
I wanted to die because I'm not me,
Then I saw someone
praying to be like me.....
I hated my job,
Tired of looking for well paying job,
Then I saw a member of church,
Fasting to have a job like mine....
I hated everyone around me,
Because they can't give me what I want,
Then I saw someone praying
to have a family like mine....
I felt bitter about my life,
I always count losses,
Then a friend called me,
She told me many things she
admire about my life.....
I hated meal,
And poured it in a dustbin,
Then my eyes met a beggar,
Eating with pigs!
And fasting to be like me....
I saw expensive shoes online,
I wanted them!
But I didn't know how to get them,
Down on street I saw someone barefooted,
Another with no feet!
All wished to be like me....
GOOD LORD, FILL OUR HEARTS WITH CONTENTMENT.LET US BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING!!!
