Joy and happiness are sisters,
They both give the amazing feeling,
Of hope for better things to come,
Their presence is betrayed by laughs and smiles,

Sometimes, tears too finds herself,
In the path of happiness, rejoicing with her,
It is a feeling from the spirit, carried unto the soul, and displayed in the body,
Supplied by God alone,

No other source of happines can be compared with the one the Lord gives,
It is the best one can encounter in life,
Happines comes when one has a right standing with God, reads His word and obeys by the help of the Holy Spirit,

Sometimes we may fall but regret and repentance must immediately set in,
Else there will be attraction of punishment from God,
God is just and loving,

Having faith in God and obeying His word brings me joy, can bring you happiness, spiced with blessings,
But failure to do so will bring eternal separation from the Lord,

My source of joy is the Lord.
