The Planter ( honouring my grandpa)
Seeds of wisdom you have sown upon the soil of eager hearts.
Time and time some weeds would grow,
they’ll be plucked from roots below.
In years of tiresome care, they grew into full bloom from the dew.
Though the scorching sun had burned in your shade, they often learned.

Storms and seasons came and gone,
petals sheltered till the dawn.
Though the winds of time had blown firmly rooted down below.
Now you’ve left them on their own, still, they blossom and they grow.
Seasons has remained unchanged,
now they huddle in the rain.

Some have wilted in the sun, others seeds were multiplied.
From the yonder realm they know, he still watches as they grow.
