The pages of my old book,
Hold my memories of yesterday,
Every smile, every tear,
Every person who came my way.

Amid smile and love
Passed the days of childhood
fun, game and passion
Sometimes on sand or at the wood.

Friends were like blessings
When youth joggled me
Day dreaming and night outs
Let the secrets untold be.

Autumn was on full bloom when,
Cupid's arrow stuck me deep.
The falling leaves dried soon
Leaving me alone, made me weep.

Parents and family received priority
Only when responsible I became.
Looking back to the days gone
Still l feel the emotions same.

Lovely were the days
Phases of life had varied lesson
Passing time makes me feel
Near to end is this life's session.
