Inner peace, a state of mind
A journey within, that we all must find
It starts with a choice, a decision to make
To no longer let others, our emotions take
For too long we've been at the mercy
Of another's words, or a hurtful controversy
But now we stand, with our head held high
No longer giving in, to someone else's lie
The power is ours, to control how we feel
No longer will we let outside forces steal
