I took a bite at your apple of love,
But it was wormy with lies
And sour with cruelty.
At first i thought
It was special and different
From all the apples
That poisoned my life,
So i thank God and took a bite,
Empty promises turned me blind
And i didn’t see the beast
That you were
Is you ruined my life,
With your claws of deception
I was scarred for life.
It was beauty and the beast
All over again
But even with a kiss
The evil prince remained a beast.
